Dealing with the loss of a parent as a teen?

This topic is something I really need some help on, two young girls at my church lost their mother almost 10 years ago now. She was a minister and instrumental in the choir which made her passing hard for everyone in the church, but the girls most of all of course. The sad part hasn't really been told because in truth they also lost their father when their mother died ( spiritually and emotionally ) now they are loosing him physically my family and I pray for them daily, as I am prayerful everyone else involved in their lives does as well. My question to everyone is what else can we do to help them?They are very private and do have a support team.

Hi sister, i deal with such situations here in Sudan, but onething i've come to learn is, that God is the Father to the fatherless, and that in him we live move and have our being.

Amen sister, I have to report that God is wonderous and good!!! The Father has began to come around he is no longer in the hospital and has a renewed faith in God, Bid has began to heal him and the girls relationship with him. Thank you so mix for replying. Great question: let them know their mom isn't lost because since she was saved we are confident that she is present with Christ. We only consider something as lost when we don't know where it is. She's in heaven.

Encourage them to meditate on Hebrews 12:1-3 which encourages believers to consider or meditate on Jesus and His life lest we become weary and get discouraged.

LET THEM KNOW THAT THE WAYS OF GOD ARE NOT THE WAYS OF MAN,MAN'S DEALINGS AND THINKING'S ARE DIFFERENT FROM GOD. BUT REMEMBER HE SAID ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THEM THAT LOVE GOD AND WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
