Writing a autobiography about events that led me to Christ and then another book afterward regarding my journey and process as a Christian.
I would like to open a home for pregnant teens while teaching them skills such as motherhood, job development, spirituality and counseling and other life skills.
Evangelize people to Christ by living a godly and acceptable lifestyle, preaching the word of God.

Permalink Reply by Pamela Smith on November 17, 2011 at 2:35pm I have had a dream, a vision for over 6 years and I finally put it on paper and now have the opportunity to put it in action. This is the visional dream: New Breed Foundation Spiritual Recovery Community Center (NBF-SR-CC) is an organization to assist the community with resources to build individual life with education, self-help, and work resource.
It will provide basic Math and English tutoring from the ages of 10 to senior citizen. Its main priority is to provide individual and group counseling divided in four age groups, 13-15, 16-17, 18-55, and 55- senior citizens.
The groups I believe are helpful in assisting a person on their growth and development (behavior modification). To a person to understand who they are and where they want to go in life. To overcome any obstacles in life; such as peer pressure, gang violent, drugs and alcohol, elder abuse to say the few among their peers in a healthy nonjudgmental environment.
NBF-SR-CC is a place where people are to come their problems and receive positive feedback for solutions and resources to receive the proper care of growth.
NBF-SR-CC will provide self-esteem in resume writing and job search confidence to reach a stable financial growth and become self-efficient in life.
It will also provide a recreation for teenagers with video game and table game that will assist teenagers to go and grow in a healthy positive environment.
NBF-SR-CC is a place of learning, socializing, and developing growth in life. A place where and individual to come to and have an awareness that he/she is not alone, a place of solutions and growth that will build healthier families in the community.

Permalink Reply by Pamela Smith on November 18, 2011 at 12:00pm The target audience is youth in need of education help, trouble teens, people in and getting out of recovery, and struggling with employment, seniors who deal with verbal and physical abuse(they can talk among their peers). A place for the youth to hang out in the rec room, just they must attend at least one group meeting a week. Provide education on drugs and sexual disease awareness. For children to accept and be comfortable with who they are and adults to have a more positive behavior on building themselves.
This is not a religion program just a spiritual program and that is to build honesty, hope, trust, faith, and courage to change and believe in themselves.

Permalink Reply by Pamela Smith on November 19, 2011 at 11:34am In the city of Carson by the college maybe Ralph's parking lot there is an empty lot, not for sure if that is big enough but definite in the city of Carson. The property size I hear should be about 75x75. I have a rough draft floor plan drawing. The facility has a lobby, two counselors offices, supply room, security room, recreation room, two restrooms, director office, group room with a kitchen connected, library, work source room, tutor room, and office for tutors.
The Goals
Group meetings are to accomplish support for individual who may have similar situations and encourage each other on behavior growth.
Work Source is to achieve employment.
Education is to good grade averages, confidence in participating in class activities. encouragement to go for higher learning to achieve a career.
Recreation is for positive social activities which will prevent gang and drug activities, along with giving the youth a positive out look on life.
NBF-SR-CC goal is to build self-awareness, integrity, self-alliance, discipline, good decisions making skills, social skills, responsible for ones actions, life problem solving skills, and respect for themselves and others.
Permalink Reply by Troy and Teresa Campbell on November 30, 2011 at 6:50pm Be a little more specific about your square footage. Next you should prepare your budget. How much will the building cost? Estimate monthly utilities. Speak with someone with a building the size of the one you want. Determine how much it will cost to pay tutors, counselors, etc....consider marketing materials and monthly rent/mortgage.
Permalink Reply by Keisha Jones on December 14, 2011 at 1:37pm I am a Jack of All Trades, and my friends bear witness and would second that notion. My dream is to retire in the FBI. But before I get to that point, I am striving to be a business owner/ entrepreneur. I am heading in the direction of starting my own project based organization geared towards young girls (eventually working with young men as well) ages 12-18 and 19-22. Through my program I want participants to gain life and personal development skills through the arts and sports activities. I have resources, ideas, and a partial game plan, but none of it is formally on paper. That is Goal#1 as I am moving forward. From there I will begin to formulate an action plan and continue looking into other resources, and then do some more piloting to see what works and what might not work so well.
