Workmen
The angels overheard four workmen discussing one another’s work. They were Bro. Chisel, Bro. Hammer, Bro. Sandpaper and Bro. Ruler.
It was said that Bro. Chisel’s work was always too rough with woodchips flying everywhere.
It was said that Bro. Hammer was too noisy
It was said that Bro. Sandpaper was too rough and abrasive
It was said that Bro. Ruler was too straight and demanding.
Into the midst of this conversation walked the Carpenter from Nazareth.
He employed Bro. Chisel, Bro. Hammer, Bro. Sandpaper and Bro Ruler to fashion a beautiful pulpit from which the gospel could be preached.
We cannot always work and perform the same tasks but we can learn to work together in harmony.
Gal. 6:4 Amp. Let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own work, He can then have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable without resorting to boastful comparison with his neighbor.
